Came across this interesting game on KS, with 5 days to go and needing just over $1,400.00 USD more to meet its goal: link Looks like Axis & Allies for 'Nam and then some. |

i tried to get our local Viet Nam enthusiast interested but he wouldn't touch it . apparently a game that takes up the dining room table for several days is a hard sell at his house . i'm surprised it's doing as well as it is . i have the Axis and Allies 'Europe and Pacific' WWII game and have played for over 10 hours without completing it (although we stopped at a point where the outcome was obvious) and this game is even bigger . i have to wonder how many people will actually play it to completion . |

Note that the kickstarter says most scenarios playable in a day; obviously the entire war would take much lomger. |

I often wonder how Chess would have made out if it were a Kickstarter. Would Knights be a Stretch Goal? |

I was in the original playtest. Took a little over a year. I'll pass. H |

The large additional shipping cost is a deal-killer for me, since it will inevitably be available for a discount in 6-12 months. That's the problem with boardgame kick-starters, IMO. Unless there are a ton of free stretch goals, or there is an enormous discount, I can just buy it from MiniatureMarket or any other large retailer. |

Would Knights be a Stretch Goal? Minstrels and Alchemists were stretch goals, but they didn't get enough funding. |

After looking over their KS promotion and some of the game info. The ENTIRE War, on a board game? Sorry pass. I just think they are waaaaay over stretching on this project. |
