GW's Graveyard Earth makes great mud or puddles. |

Yes. Pour out the amount that your going to use into a cup or something. Add ONE DROP of Graveyard Earth and mix it up. Continue that until you get the color you want. see here: TMP link |

Not tried on woodland scenics, but for a lot of the resin options I've used very tiny bits of the artists acrylic inks to get some different ones. Burnt Umber works great for it. |
