Nice, most seem to be town militia rather than frontier militia. |

Does anyone make the uniformed volunteer militia such as those Maryland units that fought the successful delaying action at North Point in 1814? |

Not in 54mm, as far as I know. I hope Expeditionary force has them in their future plans. |

In 28mm, Knuckleduster makes a variety of Maryland militia suitable for North Point. KD also has uniformed militia for the D.C. division and the Virginians. Brigade Games also sells American militia in fringed frocked coats with round hats. I have all of the aforementioned ready for Bladensburg and North Point, so if you have any specific questions, I would be happy to answer them. |

During the American War of 1812, there was town militia (sometimes called eastern), frontier militia (western) and State paid volunteers. The State Volunteers wore uniforms provided by the State. Local militia were often commanded by a US Regular Army officer who had been posted to the region to help organize such units. This is why one of the officers commanding at Fort Mims is wearing an early war (felt shako) uniform. |

Yep, Forrest at Knuckleduster has 28mm Maryland militia avaiable. They are excellent figures. |
