The 12-episode miniseries, hosted by Brian Kilmeade, vividly recounts America's epic struggle over slavery and freedom through the stories of the war's greatest heroes and villains, including Abraham Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, Stonewall Jackson, John Wilkes Booth and Frederick Douglass…

Brian Kilmeade never saw a hyperbolic statement he didn't embrace with all his heart.
I'll pass.

"Heroes and villains". That says it all.

I found the series pretty interesting. I look forward to this Sunday when it starts up again.

I'm also watching the History Channels series – The Men Who Built America – Frontiersmen. I think that is pretty good too.

Watched it last night … again, like all the L&L shows it was very good.

I've enjoyed the series. Some of the acting is a bit stilted, but acceptable. The reenacted battles have been interesting. I think the strategic moves portrayed with CGI maps / figures would have been vastly improved had the series used painted ACW miniatures / wargame terrain boards like we often see displayed here on TMP.
