I didn't think the original 'Pacific Rim' directed by Guillermo del Toro was all that great, and this sequel looks too Transformers-ish so I don't know…..

I'm more a fan of BattleTech than anime, so I prefer the clunkier Jaegars to the 50 foot tall ninjas. I'll probably still watch it when it show up at Redbox.
