Have those blades ever been found in archaeological digs? If so, were they made of bronze or iron? link
Dan PS. I can see them becoming a Pulp or Fantasy Game objective. Or even the basis for the next Indiana Jones movie! :) |

Might it represent lightning? |

IIRC they were the lightning bolts the storm god used to split Timat (or whichever version of the name of the indo-european chaos monser/earth goddess we're using this week) in two… So dont expect to find a physical version, its just abstract for lightning… |

If it's meant to represent lightning, might it have been something like an Hindu vajra? Is the figure on the left in this vase supposed to be Zeus?

Cool – might have to make an item like this as a goal or part of a treasure trove. |

Maybe he's just hungry and they're big forks. But he's REALLY hungry so their double ended. |

Interesting to see the Short handled Scythe and slender rod or sword – one would think the lightning would be enough. Also love his "wrist watch" with sun emblem – the same wrist watch emblem shows up on other relief items as well |

The figure looks to be Aquaman's Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather. He seems to be armed with a double-barrel Trident. link |

CorroPredo: "Maybe he's just hungry and they're big forks. But he's REALLY hungry so their double ended." Indeed. Who goes around eating with two forks, right? Much less two double-ended ones! Lol. Dan |

If you plug those things into a power source, you get a double-bladed light saber, don't you? |

There's only way to find out … let's get Mikey to try it! Dan |

Check this out.
Dan PS. In this next one, is that Starbucks getting struck down by Zeus, the same way that slippery fish are hit by harpoons? :)

And yes, the figure on the left of the vase is Zeus. He's even labeled with his name! |

I had figured that much, by the time I posted my last comment. All those are pictures that came up by searching Zeus and vajra. Dan |

Its a Griffin Stick, kind of like a Toad Stabber but for griffins. |
