I believe Fred Flintstone carried a club. Another vote for Odo, something to do with clergy only allowed to inflict blunt force trauma in combat hence the mace or club. Or that may be a myth…..Bills brother anyway. Nice figure though, well painted. |

I read up on it before I started painting, because I was thinking about a weapon swap. But according to the Bayeux tapestry William too is carrying a club during the battle of Hastings. It was supposed to be a symbol of rank or the like. link In the end I decided to go with the club for the mini, and I will most likely construct a second cavalry commander from the Conquest Games plastics with a club to represent Odo as well. |
