Sometimes I like to just get the troops out and set them. It can inspire a game, or just provide me with amusement. It also allows me to determine frontages and what sort of troops or guns I am missing. link Mike Bunkermeister Creek bunkermeister.blogspot.com |

Oh the memories of my Marx Civil War set. Christmas when I was in fifth grade. That is all I wanted and I got it. Many years of fun and learning military history began with them. I sold them when I was 35 or so to reap the profit of their collectability. (I am 67 now.) I don't regret selling them. I have painted so many metal figs since then that I have enjoyed also. |

Do you paint any, or do you just play with them out of the box? |

Looks like great fun whether it turns into a game or not. I hear my own Marx Blue & Gray calling as we speak. |

I still have alot of mine. I painted them back in the 70s, and wargamed with them using Morchauser. |
