Are there any skirmish rules around for this period? Maybe also usable for skirmishing the FPW. Thanks |

Age of eagles is based on fire and fury, that isn't a skirmish rule afaik |

I seem to recall Too Fat Lardies published a set of FPW adaptations for Sharp Practice in one of their Specials (Christmas 2010?). A download is available for a few pounds from their web shop. Mollinary |

Surely an ACW – or possibly a Colonial set would do, you just have a lot more repeating rifles! The Chassepot and Needle guns slightly increased ranges can be ignored in a skirmish game, I think. My free ACW rules are on our club website link |

Rampant Colonialism, despite the name, covers everything from the French & Indian War to pre-WW1. Figures are organized in small units of between 4 and 20 figures. Easy and bloody. The army lists don't cover your specific period, but all the troop types and wepaons are there for you to make your own lists: link |

Single skirmish or unit skirmish. For single model skirmish, Drums of Songs and Shako, can easily be adapted for later periods. |

Decebalus, I meant unit skirmish rules. |
