Starting a flodden project in 10mm. I have pendraken on the way, does anyone know how they size up with old glory?

I have used some Old Glory 10mm figures in my Austrian army of 1683 and they mix fine

cheers

Having looked at the images on the 'net, I'd say the Old Glory range is far too early in appearance for Flodden. Can't help on size because I have never seen any of their 10mm.

Virtually all that you need for Flodden is available from Pendraken (artillery being one item that may be a bit 'iffy' in some details). I have done a large Flodden project for a customer and he commissioned a large number of new figures to fill gaps in the range specifically to meet the needs of this Flodden project.

I'm happy to let you know what I used for different troop types.

Some images of the finished bases for the project are here ….

Those are excellent. .be awhile before I can amass such a force. I do have some left over cannon from a 30yw range, may be good for the Scots. .the crew, not so much.

It took me a fair old while to paint these too (the entire Flodden job was nearly 4500 figures). I'm actually still going on some figures to add to these that take Henry into later campaigns in France.

Pendraken would probably just do the Scots artillery crews as a 'special' pack if ordered with other stuff.

It can be difficult planning an army when you can't top-up without paying the earth for postage across the pond. I'm fine because I see Dave & Leon at shows here in the UK a few times a year.

I'm getting my pendraken from the warstore here in the states. .sadly they only order twice a month from the uk.don't know if I can get all the ranges available.

Warstore can order any of the ranges for you, no worries there. Custom jobs like the artillery crews mentioned by Tony above would need to be ordered directly though.
