Hi all!

My Age of Sail adventure continues and I've completed my 5th ship, this time a British 74. This time in dazzling Nelson Checker. What do you think?

Ship is from Langton Miniatures purchased through Waterloo Mini's. Rigging was done using thread stiffened with glue a-la War Artizan's tutorial.

Thanks everyone!

@tom Reed: I follow this guide here: PDF link

I was very intimidated by rigging until I tried it. I guarantee that if I'm able to pull off a decent result, than you will to.

Reading the Aubrey/ Maturin series, haven't played a game with sailing ships in a lifetime. Fantastic job you did.

She's a beauty Stew. Is this a new ship, or one of the rebuilds you had to do?

The ship looks great. Stew art, because you have recommended the "Post Captain" rules, I ordered them also. Many years ago I used "Wooden Ships & Iron Men" rules that I modified for non-hex gaming. But I haven't played AoS games for a long time. I have just gotten back to AoS again, this time in 1:1200 scale. I'm looking forward to clearing for action and going to general quarters again. Thanks.

Thanks some more everyone. : )

@BrianW: You should also be posting your ships on TMP. : )
No, this is not a repair from the 'shipping disaster' or 'a 4 year old and napoleonic ships don't mix'

This is one (of two) that I had in the works when the others got damaged that I went ahead and finished while waiting for the replacement Ratlines.

@John Tyson: I'm very new to AoS gaming and went on something of a buying spree on purchasing AoS rules. The Post Captain rules are, I think, really good and I hope you like them. Though keep in mind PC is best with a small number of ships.

Stew,
Yes, I've gotten very lazy about posting photos in places other than the blog. I'm glad to see the shipping disaster didn't dampen your enthusiasm.
