Reading up on the siege of Frontenac in 1758, the regulars Bradstreet had with him were Royal Artilery and Ogilvie's Independent Company.

Does anyone have any info on Ogilvie's uniforms:
Facing colour?
Long/short coat?
Cocked/round hat?

Pity Chartrand hasn't written up an Osprey for this, but old article here:

IIRC, the Independent Companies had green facings. Since they were garrison troops, probably cocked hats and long coats, but they may have made adjustments on campaign.

Googling "Ogilivie's Compaany" hadn't turned up anything. Just tried "New York Independent Companies" and came across this image:

What's with that chap's sickly green face?!

Up through WW1, more troops died of diseases than in battle, I'm guessing he's about to go!

He's being yelled at by the sergeant for being dead?

The sergeant's looking extra flush, perhaps he's just sucking the life force out of the private.

The sergeant is teaching the Zombie squad what they should be doing.

Cold with standing still so long? Hungover?
