Does your job keep you from gaming as much as you would like? |
Cacique Caribe | 12 Mar 2018 1:09 p.m. PST |
Nope. Health is what gets in the way of my work and my gaming. Dan |

Absolutely, I own a game store and haven't gamed in months. Just recently have been able to get some painting done, though. |

Right now its keeping me from painting as I'd like, but all the ot is making my next purchase bigger. |
ZULUPAUL | 12 Mar 2018 1:47 p.m. PST |
Nope, retired, now my busy "non-work" schedule keeps me busy. |

Nerp. The need for opponents is the major limiting factor. |
Col Durnford | 12 Mar 2018 1:57 p.m. PST |
A solid yes, but that will change in 20 days when I retire. I do have time to game now, however,!it would require to take time during the weekend when I spend time with my family. Once I have 7 days a week open I'll be able to use a Sunday here and there for club activity's. I'm still not likely to do gaming nights. |

Nope, I'm retired. Mind you, when I was working I gamed regularly once a week. Now I'm retired I play once a month at best. |
JimSelzer | 12 Mar 2018 2:46 p.m. PST |
double ditto on the retired thing though I am only in my 1st month of it finding others able to play during the day or late into the night is still a challenge |
KSmyth | 12 Mar 2018 2:53 p.m. PST |
Yes absolutely. I'm a teacher, advise the yearbook and newspaper, and while I love it, deadlines and late nights keep me super busy. I have time to paint but little time to play. Retirement after the 2018-19 school year is looking good. |

No, I'm a "gentleman of leisure" these days and work (sub teach) when I feel like it. So I'm gaming more than ever. |

Sometimes, but at other times my job gets me involved in professional wargaming :) |
huron725 | 12 Mar 2018 3:13 p.m. PST |
Yes, for sure. 6 more years…………….. |
Herkybird | 12 Mar 2018 3:42 p.m. PST |
It mainly interferes with my painting and converting/prep, as I am usually too tired after work to do anything but sleep and watch DVD's/TV! |

Being as I am retired work doesn't get in the way. However, volunteering and the honey do list does make inroads on available time. |
Parzival | 12 Mar 2018 4:41 p.m. PST |
I work as a librarian for our Teen Library department. As part of my job, I host a monthly strategy game club, and during the summers I lead an Introduction to D&D program. Plus, one of my coworkers is a gamer, and we'll occasionally play games during lunch (we've down Tablut/Tafl and Ogre so far). So my job has actually increased my gaming opportunities! |
FusilierDan | 12 Mar 2018 5:08 p.m. PST |
Yes. I miss some of the conventions if they fall on a work weekend. |
Oberlindes Sol LIC | 12 Mar 2018 8:01 p.m. PST |
I am so looking forward to retirement, but it is so far away. So, yes, time is spent on work that would be spent on wargaming. |

Nah, my work is gaming. It just prevents me from playing non work related games… most of the time. |

Three jobs = little time for play. all i do is work, eat sleep, and play with the dogs |
