I've been working on the Russian artillery for my Zorndorf game at the SYW Association convention the first weekend this April. Click on the link to my blog, below to view more of the pictures. link
This week was devoted to the Limber teams comprised of four horses, one artillery train driver and the Limber. I like to have a Limber team for all of my cannon models in my Wargame armies. |

I once posed my gunners with one guy ramming the charge just as another was lighting the fuse. I see you avoided that. Good thing all my gunners are loose figures. But seriously, the purpose of limbers in a miniatures game is to occupy space that in most games is taken for granted. Your artillery parks always look great. |

You are a bit of a bahstahd, DAF, blatantly showing us stuff like this……fuelling my coming addiction to Minden for my Imagination armies…. Lovely work!

My understanding is that during the SYW era the artillery (excluding battalion guns) did not move much once deployed. Good thing since, as a gamer, I would be hesitant to disrupt your fantastic models from their deployed formation. |

This is what an artillery battery should look like! Absolutely breath-taking and inspirational! Thanks for sharing! |

My understanding is that during the SYW era the artillery (excluding battalion guns) did not move much once deployed Perhaps it is well that Colonel Moller didn't know that, when he manoeuvred his heavy guns at Rossbach! |

@davenbak. Even during WSS, there was some mobility of artillery- Marlborough moved artillery forward and it in a support role at both Blenheim and Malplaquet. He had an excellent artillery commander and the tactic was unusual for the time. |
