I assumed you where in the US but it seems you are in the UK I don't remember Northstar's postal charges being particularly bad but Arcane scenery and Models carry Northstar miniatures so you could try them. link |

I have to admit that I have stopped buying from North Star online because of the carriage charges which I thought were high. Still buy from them but at shows. |
