I didn't really mind Jar Jar. The theory that he might have been the intended Sith Lord was an interesting one that could have given another point of view to those early scenes… However, Jar Jar did not deserve the fate that he was given in the Disney universe |

Jar Jar gets on my wick as he's comic relief that isn't actually comic. Ewoks, on the other hand, I have nothing but love for – "501st Stormtrooper Legion? Drop your blasters, never mind your armour and walking tanks, we have you surrounded by Space Care Bears armed with twigs!" |

Terrible. Terrible comic relief. Like, not funny…. just dumb, bad slapstick kitch. That accent…  . Nearly offensive with how bad it was, and I'm near impossible to offend. The whole "doing things wrong but they work out!" laziness of writing…he embodied it. Those dumb floppy ears. That stupid numb tongue. Jar Jar was Pure And only one small step below "Yipee!" Skywalker. |
