link Those are the pre-orders this week. The medusa things look really cool. I have one of the Bloodwrack medusas. So putting a few boxes of the new figs together would give me a neat little army actually. I'm thinking maybe two units of the Melusai sisters, one unit of the Melusai stalkers and a unit of the Heartrenders would be a neat little compact force to start with or ally with my Stormcast against my Slaanesh forces. The price is less than what I would have expected. At only $10 USD each the medusa seem like quite reasonably priced and the flying ones for $9 USD a model are pretty good too. The new terrain looks cool too:
link Nothing super special but a nice set of ruins for $30. USD |

Also I bought the Battletome today. It is very good. I haven't delved into the fluff just yet but I did read most of the spells and such like. It seems very characterful. I'll read the fluff when I lie down tonight.

Nice! I'm looking forward to them, as well. They'll make a nice warband for Dragon Rampant, so will pull double duty for me :) |

I am going to pick up that Hallowheart game board and a box or two of those ruins. I don't mind the smaller dimensions. 3'6" x 5'6" (roughly) is plenty big for my games. Already have the Moonbase set and love it. |

Oh, the new ruins are nice! They could even be used for a dwarvish theme I think, very cool. |

That battlefield set looks a pretty good value for what you get, the battle mat along with three sets of ruins and also the crawling vines. |

Another cash grab! I have a dark elf army from 1987, no need for these new ones. This other random game that's still on kickstarter comes with more miniatures so why wouldn't you buy that instead of these? GW does not sell at all in this one store I've been in, nobody plays AoS. |
Mithmee | 05 Mar 2018 1:59 p.m. PST |
Centurio, Be careful now since you are acting like me and there are individuals who will end up not liking you. I would never buy these for far different reasons, as in they are horrible looking miniatures. GW has just been putting out miniatures that look the same across every army. But you are right no one is playing AoS in my area either. |

"GW has just been putting out miniatures that look the same across every army." Too true. Look at these two releases first you have Morathi:
Then you have the Great Unclean One:
I mean if you can tell the difference between the two figures you are doing better than me. I'm not even sure I put the pictures in the right order they are so similar looking. |
Mithmee | 05 Mar 2018 5:47 p.m. PST |
I am not even going to bother disapproving you since it would be far to easy. You like giving money to GW for overprice miniatures and I don't. You think that everything that GW puts out these days is the best ever and I don't. You think that AoS is great and I don't. GW killed off their Fantasy line and driven a lot of individuals over to Kings of War. I won't even go into that to field a force of 50 or more would still cost you $300 USD – $500. USD But Centurio is correct this is just another cash grab by GW. |

Our local Kings of War players have came back to Age of Sigmar recently. You can only eat bread and gruel for so long before you want some flavor, I guess. |

"GW killed off their Fantasy line and driven a lot of individuals over to Kings of War." GW sure as hell didn't kill off their fantasy line. Their fantasy line is doing better than ever. They did drive a lot of people to Kings of War but they brought more people into Age of Sigmar than were playing Warhammer Fantasy Battle. "I won't even go into that to field a force of 50 or more would still cost you $300 USD USD – $500. USD USD" Demonstrably not true. You can put an army of 54 models AND an army of 34 models together for $250. USD For another $85 USD you can add another dozen models to the second army. So for $335 USD you could field two armies of about 50 figures. So you're off by a factor of two. Which, not counting spelling and grammar, is the number of times you were wrong in that post. |

I guess the sarcasm in your post was too subtle for Mithmee, Centurio Prime lol. |

Maybe I was a little too subtle |
