What makes this easy assembly, from what I see it doesn't come with 1-piece track sets, that would make it easy, I have dealt enough with PSC 2-piece track sets and gears that its becoming annoying.

Has anyone else put these together, do they come with 1-piece track sets?

In as much time as it took to post the question, you could have just looked at their website….

Two piece tracks….

Edited to say the image won't load but it clearly shows two piece tracks.

One piece track upgrade option…

That's for the Pz IV .

Everything is relative. Compared to the traditional model kits where every tack link is separate, Two pieces are indeed ‘easy assembly'

@Bliss

Two pieces are not easy assembly, they take longer and are fiddly, especially with my age and sight now. So I am better off getting the FoW tanks. I put together 4 tigers & 5 panthers from psc and it was a nightmare with the 2 piece tracks.

@Jaztez

I did look at the sight and couldn't see anything that said what was in the box just diagrams on paper, which they are all the same even ones with the 1 piece tracks, Deleted by Moderator

Geez, the multi-piece running gear isn't that hard to put together. Not if you're careful, patient and do a dry run with each set. I'd take it over the symplified and less detailed one-piece option any day of the week because, if the tank sports skirts and you're canny, you can leave off the unseen top section and get yourself some spare links for stowage.

I've put three boxes of IIIs together, Fs through to Ns; they have multi-part assemblies for their tracks.

Those "diagrams on paper" are the sprues. The Panzer IV and T34 have multi-part tracks on the sprue but the kit descriptions clearly state they additionally come with one-piece jobs; so you can adorn both with spare track links if you keep the one-ers for the hulls, proper. Which is nice.

More recent releases have one-piece by default. Sadly.

I too prefer the better detail on the two piece tracks. That having been said it is a pity the joins are where they are, very visible. I suppose better for molding, and possibly for the fit, then trying to do two "U" shaped segments where the joins would be less noticeable. I tend to use some extra liquid glue to "melt" the connecting seams together which does help the appearance.

If assembly is a concern, why not buy from Forged in Battle, where the tracks and body are all one piece? Or, Gaming Models. You get really cheap vehicles all assembled and painted! (Admittedly the painting is not too good – I usually just ask them to undercoat and I'll do the rest) and the quality of some of his sculpts are not too good, but the latest ones he's made are actually quite acceptable. But hell – for $5 USD!? Can't be beat.

Actually NWS online sells boxes of 5 PSC tanks for $18 USD so yes, you can beat it :)

Also many of us dont like that Forged in Battle has the molded on bases.

Sounds like you need new glasses Apophisson is sticking 2 wheels and 2 long pieces of track is difficult. For myself aged a mere 60 and wearing glasses since my mid 20s these seem really easy ton assemble, especially compared to much of the metal stuff out there. At least these come with instructions. You might also want to consider a better light source, that could make a big difference in being able to see the parts.

Easy to assemble. I had 9 of these done within a couple of hours just ready to add stowage. I found them fun to build . The only problem is that I have too many Mk3s!

You can never have too many Mk3's! :-)

"is sticking 2 wheels and 2 long pieces of track is difficult."

People should try building a 1/76 Pz 1 model kit !

Actually NWS online sells boxes of 5 PSC tanks for $18.00 USD USD so yes, you can beat it :)

I've been bested! That is a heck of a price! Although, I would point out that PSC are not assembled or painted. I've got both PSC and Gaming models (and Forged in Battle for that matter) and cannot complain about any of them!

Agree Gaming models have improved and also offer some things others dont. I recently bought some of his more recent Italian cargo trucks. He has made the back canvas over the cargo area removable, something many of the other models dont do and I happened to need open truck bed. Also bought some of his DFS-230 gliders and they were superb!
