Out of curiosity doe anyone make such figures, I figured since PSC and FOW make 15mm WW2 Plastic figures, someone would do napoleonics. |

No. 1/72 plastic is the closest you'll find. |

It's got to viable soon with the price of metal going up all the time. |
IUsedToBeSomeone | 01 Mar 2018 1:08 p.m. PST |
Metal is about 5% of the cost of a 15mm figure – the metal price doesn't affect figure prices as much as cost of living changes and wage increases…. Mike |

There's 15mm Medeival on the way, WW1 and 2 already so I think it is only a matter of time. |

Considering the number of times this question has been asked over the years, I would imagine if it was commercially viable someone would have done it by now |
Jcfrog | 01 Mar 2018 2:44 p.m. PST |
Too many different figures compared to ww2. . It might just make sense for some 1806-13 French line, as it is roughly half of the tables. It did make sense in 28 as they are semi artifially sold 3-4 times more than 18. |

Whose producing 15mm plastic medieval? |

Perhaps if we can get Hasbro to expand their old "Risk" set? |

I thought it had something to do with the molds. I've read that plastic molds are much more expensive to make than metal molds. |
Nick Bowler | 01 Mar 2018 8:35 p.m. PST |
I will buy them. And 15mm ACW. |
Extra Crispy | 01 Mar 2018 8:59 p.m. PST |
Molds for plastic run in the tens of thousands of dollars. Mold for making metal figures, $100 USD a pop. The sculpting itself is quite an expense as well. I'd imagine those best suited would be companies who already do 28s – they could shrink their existing designs. 15mm ACW was tried but the company went bust before the figs ever hit the market. |

A sprue of figures covering all the needed French figures would cost about fifty grand to get to production. That's pounds, not dollars. |

I'm not sure those would qualify as 15mm. Or medieval. LOL |
bruntonboy | 02 Mar 2018 12:39 p.m. PST |
They better had be both- I've ordered enough of them! Not too fussed about the fantasy bit though myself. |
jaztez | 02 Mar 2018 12:49 p.m. PST |
Hmm not really 15mm medieval figures, more plastic playing pieces. |
bruntonboy | 02 Mar 2018 12:54 p.m. PST |
All my figures of all scales and materials are merely playing pieces. I call them toy soldiers, only occasionally model soldiers- and sometimes I call them other things which shall remain secret. |

I wonder if high-quality 3D printing will exist before 15mm hard plastic Naps. David F Brown |
battle master | 06 Apr 2018 3:55 a.m. PST |
Give it 5-10 years and we will all be able to 3D print figures in any scale and already painted to perfection |

What would be the point of plastic 15's? Do you want multi-part kits at that scale? How much money do you think you could save? How would it compare to existing metal ranges? Unless the price difference was exceptional and the quality on par with metals, there's no real point in the investment from a company. |
