"Well, Solo: A Star Wars Story has a poster now and J.J. Abrams is done with the script for Star Wars: Episode IX, which is set to begin shooting in July, so things are definitely moving forward in the galaxy far, far away. But the 18-month gap between those two releases is the longest between Star Wars movies since the series returned in 2015. Does that mean the franchise is going to be taking a break (perhaps at the Star Wars hotel)? Read on and you tell us…"

Yegads, don't tell me there's more of that boring monstrosity of pointlessness to see. The 2+ hours were enough. Pffft.

I'm holding out hope for Solo because of Ron Howard. But the Star Wars franchise is fading fast.

Maybe it's time to call in Joss Whedon.

Did they cut the good part out? 'cause I'd like to see those missing parts….

Will we get even more of Luke wallowing in self pity. Thank goodness his Sister is the most powerful force user around to make up for his lameness. Id like to meet all 64 surviving members of the resistance that could fit on the M. falcon

For myself I liked The Last Jedi and I truly think that the Star Wars franchise is NOT fading fast.

Has it got the bit when Fin wakes up and its all been a bad dream. That's the only way they can redeem that trash. " months now and I am still angry at what they did do your beloved star wars.

I will not be going to see 9.

I saw all I will ever see of that piece of garbage. I have no plans on seeing another Disney converged Star Wars movie.

Humorously, Phantom Menace was playing while I was on the treadmill at the gym yesterday. It is no longer the worst Star Wars.

Not unless he's a whiny pity party Jedi ghost! Remember he evaporated himself at the end of the Last Jedi. Too bad they didn't follow the post Return of the Jedi story spin-offs like Aftermath which make waaayyy more sense than the movies of the new trilogy.

The Star Wars the sort of people who browse forums like this enjoyed is dead. All that exists now is a Disney zombie wearing its skin.

Let. It. Die.

Words fail the filth that is DisneyWars.

gulp indeed…. heh!

Leia--Mary Poppins was a bridge too far.

Too PC for my tastes

After what Disney just did to episodes 7 and 8 I don't really care at all what happens in 9 as there is no longer anything to care about. Disgracefully killed off the originals and the new cast are characterless shells.

I'm holding out hope on spin offs like Rogue One which was really good so perhaps Howard will try and make Solo a movie along the lines of that full of high adventure and interesting characters and leave the social engineering at the back door.
