40k is about how much $$ you will drop to buy minis before your senses take hold and you bail out. |

I'd recommend them to play something like Rogue Stars by Osprey Games, you only need a handful of miniatures and can invent your own background. You have a plastic Dalek, it can be a Land Tank, those old Escher and Delaque gang members can be your merc team. You don't need to invest huge sums to play the game! |

Thanks for the post, Tango. Not everyone is as cheap as the typical TMP curmudgeons. It is expensive but so are many hobbies. |
