This might be a silly (noob) question but the sabot trays I see on Warbases…do they come with the round cutouts or does one have to supply their own bases?

Dervel Fezian23 Feb 2018 4:31 p.m. PST

you order them separately.

All depends on which sabots you order.

Sabots ordered for 1p and 2p coins will require you to supply your own coins.

Sabots ordered for 15mm, 20mm etc will require you to order an appropriate number if MDF bases to suit.

Gotcha

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

pay attention to the drop down menus to get the right magnet hole sizes and base thickness (as desired).

Off topic: are 1p and 2p coins magnetic?

JimDuncanUK24 Feb 2018 11:44 a.m. PST

UK pennies are hit and miss for being magnetic.

I think the older the better.

My family hang on to them for me.

New 2ps are magnetic, as they now have a steel core to make them cheaper.
