Does anyone here know if Connoisseur or Peter Gilder produced 28mm Swedish Napoleonic figures? I have 10 Swedish Napoleonic infantry figures with PG SW1 marked on the bottom of the bases. I also have 3 officers, 1 drummer and a horse made by the same company but can only read the PG part of the marking. They are rather large 28mm figures. |

Connoisseur did – and still do as marketed by Bicorne Miniatures. Elite Miniatures also do Swedes that might match in if that's what you're looking for. |

They could be Connoisseur – see Bicorne miniatures website |

Does anyone do 28mm Swedish cuirassiers in the crazy mullet crests with the brass applique eagle on the cuirass? |

Ok, I've able to determine that the miniatures are in fact Connoisseur. I found an old listing on eBay and they're exactly like mine. I just managed to paint up one of the advancing infantrymen and the miniature painted up nicely. Size wise I'm wondering how the Connoisseur miniatures compare to the Perry Swedes. The Connoisseur figure's base is rather thick, I can probably shave off 1/16 inch or so and mount it on a 30 thousands plastic sheet card base and then use 60 thousands for the Perry figures. |
