What's around there? May be near there (Bartlesville) for an extended period.

Try this place. I have visited the site a few times when in Tulsa and it seems to have an active Historical Miniature group: link

I live in Bartlesville. I haven't been here long, so other than a couple games of Warhammer at the local game shop, I haven't found much.
But I am always up for Ancients, WWII, or just about anything.

I can't help on this one but I must comment on Bartlesville. I've been to Bartlesville a couple of times and found it to be a nice town. The painted bulls are interesting and I struggle to remember the name of some of the restaraunts in the town. I mention it because there is one place that serves the absolutely best banana pudding I have ever had. It was amazing. My client there who I was visiting is the largest employer in the town and they were great to work with. In their main conference room they had a row of clocks, each showing the time in a different time zone and labeled with the city in that time zone in which they had an office. It wasn't until our second meeting that I noticed that the last clock was labeled 'Happy Hour' and was stuck at precisely 5 o'clock. They're still a client of my company but I unfortunately have moved on to a different division. Oh, and another thing, don't jay walk in the downtown area, but that's another story.

We have a small group that regularly plays historical miniatures at Top Deck Games in Tulsa. I don't have the capability to send private messages here, but if you will contact them they can put you in touch with us.
