…the Netflix Reboot "Netflix has unveiled the first Lost in Space reboot trailer and images, giving us a peek at the highly anticipated new sci-fi series. Indeed, while the streaming service first gained prominence in the TV realm by reviving cancelled shows like Arrested Development or The Killing, Netflix has now moved firmly into creating content of its own. But the streaming giant isn't above a good old fashioned IP revival, and Lost in Space has been one of its most ambitious TV shows on the docket for quite a while. It's finally almost time to see what this Lost in Space reboot looks like as Netflix has announced an April 13th premiere date while revealing the very first images from the show…"

Parker Posey as Dr. Smith -- this could be OK -- as long as we leave aside the irrational premise of turning a nuclear family into the core of a spaceship crew. Have we developed a way for spacesuits to grow as their owners grow up? |

I always wanted Dr. Smith to get "spaced", as in ejected out of an airlock. Now that he's a she, for sure it will never happen. Is Judy Robinson adopted then, or is Mrs. Robinson her stepmom? Dan
PS. I'll still watch the show, one episode at a time. The movie was such a disappointment. |

Dr. Smith is a woman from what I understand. Mrs. Robinson is divorced, and Judy is from her first husband. Don West is not a Major and a hero, he is a smuggler. First words in the promo, "humans evolve." It's the usual Hollywood "we called it LIS to get the old fans to watch the show, then changed it so much as to be unrecognizable to the original." The movie was awful, I suspect this series will be awful too. Mike Bunkermeister Creek
