Started watching the 1st ssn of this last night on Netflix. Watched 3 of 6 episodes. Sean Bean stars. Very good period piece, reimagining of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein". Sean Bean was a producer. Nice references to his "Sharp" series….LOL! Highly recommended (I know, Hal, thatnks for that phrase…!). link |

I saw the previews for this series while I was watching Babylon Berlin. That is a series about 1927 Berlin with Communists And nationalists and police and crooks and such. Are there actual battles in the Frankenstein Series? Something to game? |

Seems like having Sean Bean produce a project may be the only way his character will make it to the end of the show (hopefully). |

Bob, I wouldn't expect battles in a Frankenstein story, plenty of pulp rpg potential maybe. That Babylon Berlin series sounds good though. |

That sounds like an interesting series. |

Very atmospheric. Even indoors everyone can see their breath and all in all I'm glad I did not live there then. |

Was fortunate enough to see this previously. I really liked it and thought it raised some interesting philosophical/religious issues while being a cracking bit of Gothic detective fun. Sadly I do not think Bean said "bastard" once. Other than that worth watching. Bob |
