I'd say even before preventing the rice from being taken away, that it was a French victory from the simple fact that the expedition actually met the Viets. Most of the time, they would have been long gone by the time the legionnaires got off the riverboats. |

Jakar, Fair assessment. In my reading the vast majority of the time the communist forces were "caught" it was because they wanted to be.
This was a skirmish game so I was looking at it from the tactical perspective. Cheers Joe |
