A bit remiss on this first – last December re-sent a message to Battleline in NZ asking about some of their figures that weren't pictured on their website and asking if i could get pictures of them. I also inquired about the cost of a couple of chariot horses and a wheel for a chariot that I got in a batch of minis off of TMP if I placed an order with them.

In his response Bryan noted that if I gave him my address he would just send samples of the minis I was inquiring about and the horses and wheel I did so and a couple of weeks later got a package with the figures I had enquired about along with a nearly complete heavy chariot (with only the two horses). Definitely above and beyond many of the other manufacturers I have dealt with.

Then I took advantage of the Christmas/end of year sale at Rebel Minis to pick up some of their Amazon generals on gryphons for my HOTT Amazons along with some zombie dogs and Mummy King chariots for the Undead.

One caveat on the gryphon is that the separately cast wing is noticeably larger in depth than the other. Probably won't be noticeable on the table. It will also take a bit of fitting to get the general mounted to the gryphon.

As to the chariots I am considering replacing the actual chariots with standard Egyptian chariots. Something to think about.

Turn around on the order was just at 2 weeks – not bad considering an end of year sale.

Also picked up some Chinese and a few other odds and sods at the Museum Miniatures January sale. Even with the overseas aspect of shipping just over three weeks to get them (shipped 15 days after the order was placed). Nicely packed and minimal flash (Even got an extra skirmisher from them).

Another good experience.
