I can usually get a package *from* the UK to the US in 2 weeks. I returned an item to the UK three weeks ago. No word from the company yet (and no refund).

I know the Royal Mail can be wonky. Maybe UK customs is holding it up?

I have no way to track the package nor have any delivery confirmation.

What should I expect?

Thanks

I'm looking to add to my ww2 pacific war naval project by adding some ground combat. I'm going to use Command Decision TOB for the rules and I'd like some opinions on figure manufacturers.

So far I've found the following manufacturers:
Note the cost per figure is before any discounts for volume etc.
Old Glory Command Decision – $0.32 USD per figure
Peter Pig – $0.52 USD per figure
Eureka – $0.62 USD per figure
Battlefront/FOW – $0.67 USD per figure

I'm a huge fan of Eureka having used them for my Crimean and WW1 Mesopotamian projects but I'm really curious how the Old Glory figures stand up to the rest given their low cost. I've read that the Japanese are oversized in this line but I don't know if that's still the case.

Any thoughts are appreciated
Tom

Most of my WWII minis are Old Glory, and I've been really pleased with the variety of poses. A small force of Japanese for Peter Pig's rules turned out nicely-- converted a couple of unneeded prone figures to provide knee mortars and a 20mm ATR. Quality Castings also do Japanese, and I did add a few for officers, etc. These are a little smaller than the Old Glory minis but mixed in fairly well.

I have Eureka's U. S. Marines and Japanese and think they are excellent sculpts. Great detail for 15/18mm. The poses are very dynamic, a good number of prone poses and nothing that makes you scratch your head wondering "what is he doing?" If I had any criticism it would be that the alloy used and the fine detail of the sculpts combine to result in a few lost/missing gun barrels and bayonets. Another item to note is that the Marine flamethrower sculpts are of an earlier model than the iconic "as seen on T.V." version more common, at least in photos, later in the war.

I use mostly Old Glory in my games with a few Quality Castings, with Eureka and Peter Pig waiting to get painted. You can look around my blog to see soon photos of the Ild Glory in action. I thought the Japanese look fine.

Thanks all for responding. DOB2 you are right, the Old Glory look find. Also, that's a really beautiful table you were playing on.
