The British returned to map 3 in an attempt to drive the Heer platoon from the bridge. This time around they can draw on more support form the battalion, but will it be enough to tip the balance? The full AAR is here Road to Bremen Scenario 3 (round two)

Top Notch as always TP!

Btw, I'm seeing some fences in your shots that you could use for the AWI too. ;)

Most excellent as always.

How you explain what is happening. Provide the die roll results for the CoC dice has helped me make certain I was playing correctly.

I found this game easy enough to teach a 6 year old. She knows what she needs to roll so have to watch her. Such a little cheater!

Thank you again

Jonathan

Yet another excellent of AAR! I was much taken by your forward defensive strategy! It seemed a nicely balanced game despite the apparent disparity in numbers and quality of troops? Taking the fight to your opponent brought you agonisingly close to winning you that game! The destruction of the Sherman could have proved a turning point in your favour if you had possibly succeeded in wiping out that last engineer?

Indeed they are. Not something I thought about when I made them, but when I was painting some AWI figures the other day I pulled some of the fences out to try them for scale and they were a perfect fit. What are tall fences for 20mm are picket style fences for 28mm. Result!

I know. I do ask myself, what could have been if I'd perhaps been a little more bold across the river. Oh well, we live and learn. Glad you've enjoyed the AARs.
