"Fifty years ago today, on February 8th, 1968, The Planet of the Apes was released in theaters, changing science fiction forever. We at WYSIWYGames grew up on the Planet of the Apes—not literally (mostly)—and followed the stories of Taylor, Cornelius, and Dr. Zaius, and then, as adults, we encountered a whole new cast of characters like Caesar, Maurice, and Koba. It's our privilege now to play a small part in the ongoing saga of these beloved characters, films, and novels.

In honor of this fifty year anniversary we'd like to share some exciting previews of what we have planned for Planet of the Apes: The Miniatures Boardgame.

Below, you'll see the first 3D renders of our plastic trees, close-up shots of our all-new human soldiers, and a first look at some examples of what you'll be able to do with our boardgame figures and a little paint…."

Would like to see them do the original 1969 version of POTA.
