Very nice sculpts, but I prefer long weapons in a vertical position. Gaming with them in the horizontal can be a problem. |

I certainly prefer them in realistic action poses over the 45° versions. That said, vertical are more usefull as most pikemen DID stand around with vertical pike – unless in action. With other defensive sets already available, I am quite confident that there will be more sets with vertical weapons, though. As I desperately try to avoid being sucked into 20mm, I am not really in the target group here anyway. Just admiring this stuff from the sidelines – if they would be available in 28mm, I would get me an army or two, just to game the Siege of Neuss. |
