Well after the sad demise of The Guild, and the loss of alot of info and discussion on the Battlegroup game, I've finally got a new forum set up for those who play the game and any former members who feel like joining. It will take some time to build up the wealth of information we had on the Battlegroup forums at The Guild, but hopefully we can recreate that success anew. link |

Ok, everyone else seems to be able to register but not me, even after several attempts. I input my desired username
enter my email address
create a password automatically via Safari browser
then complete the verify After this I'm presented with two blue buttons undeneath the completed ‘verify'. One says ‘save' and the other says ‘reset'. I obviously don't want to reset so I click on save. It then tells me that the passwords I have entered did not match. But there's nowhere to enter two passwords, so there's nothing to compare the p/w I entered with! And round and round I go. Any suggestions please? |

I just registered very quickly. I made my own password, then, on page with the Kaptcha verification there is a space to re-enter the password, which I did. Completed the Kaptcha task and pressed save. Got verification link in email and onto the forum. Perhaps you need to manually create a password, which you can then re-enter as above? |

I have no idea… Maybe where the hosting is? The hosting service came recommended repeatedly as the most secure and reliable free forum hosts online. |

Thanks Dave. I think the auto password creation was skipping the re-enter password box, or creating a second p/w for it, hence the mismatch. I'm in now. |
