I've been trying to find some photos of the Jordanian Army during the Six Day War 1967. When I google I get only a couple of photos of Jordanian troops; the majority are of Israeli troops. The photos I've seen show Jordanian troops in what appears to be a light tan/khaki uniform with the British Mark II helmet and web gear; or a soldier in British Battle Dress with a keffiyeh. I would assume at this time the majority of Jordanians would still have British equipment.

While on the subject of the Six Day War, would love to see some one produce a reasonably priced (the resin kits are expensive!) 1/72 scale M47 Patton. One of the most widely used tanks in the early Cold War is sadly missing from the 1/72 model scene.

Wiki article on the Royal Jordanian Army shows the King and officers in British uniforms ( including berets, similar to Saddam Hussein and his officers – both Jordan and Iraq started off as Hashimite monarchies, supported by Britain ) .

Some discussion here ( from 2008 and a lot of the links are broken ) link but supports your WW2 British uniforms.

My guess is the arab head gear would be like Aussie Slouch hats – replaced by helmets in heavy combat.

Osprey Arab Armies of the Middle East 1948-1973 has a couple of pages of coloured plates on Jordan but only one soldier is from 1967, again kitted out in British kit.

If you type ''jordanian army 1967'' into google you have a fair few images . The uniform is essentially British , with US ww2 X webbing and ammo pouches , the main rifle is the Garand . The main LMG's were Brens or BAR's , with .30 and .50 cals on tripods in weapons companies .
Use of Arab headgear , would have indentified Arab legion units who saw action in and around Jerusalem .
