Which scale of figures do you primarily use?

The humans are 28mm.

28mm

Everything that comes out of the Cthulhu Wars box is 28mm, too.

28mm

….but have also wargamed the RPG Cthulhutech background in 6mm using a variety of miniatures from different manufacturers. Lots of fun in the arcology with a Star Spawn, Deep Ones and hybrids trying to take over the city, whilst powered infantry, gunships and Mechas try to stop them capturing the key infrastructure.

I adapted the old Titan Legions rules, as the power levels seemed well suited to massed infantry, armour and 'demons' in an urban context.

28mm with the new Cthulhu war figures.

Since this wouldn't be a genuine TMP Poll without this, "I am not a Cthulhu" player.

And, "I don't game Cthulu yet, but I want to."

I am sad for you Winston. You have never walked the darken streets of Arkham, Nor the Rotten Wharfs of Innsmouth. You will never Climb the Mountains of Madness or Sail to south seas in search of Ryath.

For standard pulp Cthulu 28mm is my favorite.

For ground based scifi Cthulu, 1:256/N Gauge/MechWarrior.

For space based scifi Cthulu, ~1:600, but a really, really variable scale for spaceship/eldritch horror battles in space and asteroid fields.

6mm of course … But they are just statues of some long forgotten ancient alien heroes or gods …

28mm

Azathoth insists on 15mm, but one can see what that scale did to him.

No. I just pray my militia won't run away too soon.

I can no longer afford 28mm and I don't have the space for them, but I have collected 15/18mm Pulp and Eldritch Horror figures. One can find most minions and deities in this size, or stand-ins. Also, old 25mm ranges provide some figures useful for 15mm – gods, shoggoths, cthonians, etc. Most of these types are relative in size – an old Grenadier Models Nyarlahotep figure looks excellent next to 15mm.

There are still things hard to find: Mi-go, great race of Yith, elder things come to mind. Someone made elder things and Yithites a few years back, but I'm sure they're OOP now.

Mutant Q08 Feb 2018 11:19 p.m. PST

I tend to use 28mm as well, but I could easily be convinced to collect some 15mm figs, especially the monsters.
