Another year dawns and the pledge continues, this year is to finish some projects (6mm Colonials the priority)

So a great start to the year despite being busy with work commitments.

How did we get to the end of January so fast?

Finished nothing this month but didn't purchase anything either.

YTD Purchased: 0

Finished 13 figures, plus a horse this month. Unfortunately, bought 33 figures plus 3 horse sized creatures. Sold two cannons and 8 figures, and have 30 figures I sold ready to ship out tomorrow (unfortunately that's the 1st of February, so it won't count for January). Not a great month, but it could have been worse.

P.S. First, there were the Black Friday sales, then the after Christmas sales, and now there's a Kickstarter I really want to buy into, and the new edition of Saga is coming out. It all makes it hard to keep purchases equal to sales and painting.

Not as good as I had hoped for but I was sick for a week and on vacation for 10 days.

I had a great start to the year, which is good since my painting will slow down a WHOLE bunch in the beginning of March with the arrival of a baby!

Painted:
28mm: 26. finished the last of a 'commission' from a friend of 12 desert rats for Bolt Action and painted up a bunch of halflings I got from a kick starter.

15mm: 32. 18 Sci-Fi guys to finally finish a platoon of Rebel Minis guys for Tomorrow's war and started on some Flames of War Vietnam figures I was given a couple years ago with 14 guys on 7 stands of platoon leaders.

Terrain:
7 trees from aliexpress sealed, painted, based, flocked etc… to build up the terrain at the club so I don't have to keep lugging around a trunk full of terrain everytime we have a Bolt Action day.

'Purchased':
I traded for 35 figures from Rebel Minis (getting rid of a lot of books I'll never use again!) and 3 15mm vehicles.

'Sold':
I'm trading 70 Bolt Action figures to Rebel Minis for more stuff!

I guess I'll count by 28mm figures, so the 15's will be 1/2 and the tress will be 1 figure which means…

Total for the start of 2018:

I have a stack of almost done stuff, 15mm mechs, more 15mm vietnam, some 15mm sci-fi vehicles, 2 28mm german vehicles. I expect Feb will be productive too!

I actually painted 5 harpies and 5 satyrs, all from the Foundry Greek Mythology range. Of course, I still have a pile of mythology figures to paint, but it is a relatively small and manageable project.

Didn't buy anything. Painted and decaled 12 28mm tanks and 2 trucks. Painted 8 7TV cultists. So well ahead so far. Unfortunately it will all go pear shaped on Sunday when I go to the York show.

Self inflicted goal of 5051 (50x15mm or 5x28mm or 1x building) per week.

Yeah, but I had a lot of time off in Jan. I'm hoping for a good Feb with a short month, some work travel, and what not.

Last year I finished at 599 figures ahead, so I need to step it up if I want to make progress! The pile has thousands of figures in it, it has no mercy.
