Anyone suggest a Vallejo, Tamiya, Revell or Army Painter match for the helmet shade in this photo (I know it's not WW2 but it's a good bet that someone will have an idea based on WW2 camo shades?)

Thanks

Jim

Coat d'Arms Olive would be a good match, washed to get the dark spots in the cover.

Vallejo Russian Uniform is another good olive that would do the job. Add Vallejo Yellow Ochre to lighten it if you need to for different tones.

Looks like you have two shades. Providing your models have the net cover would base paint in Vallejo 887 Brown Violet (which, despite its name, is a nice match for US OD). I would then dry brush the netting in a lighter color like Vallejo 881 Yellow Green.

Rubber Straps cut from old tire inner tubes might also be common to hold on helmet netting.(the guy in the rear of the photo)
