Anyone suggest a Vallejo, Tamiya, Revell or Army Painter match for the helmet shade in this photo (I know it's not WW2 but it's a good bet that someone will have an idea based on WW2 camo shades?) Thanks Jim |

Coat d'Arms Olive would be a good match, washed to get the dark spots in the cover. |

Vallejo Russian Uniform is another good olive that would do the job. Add Vallejo Yellow Ochre to lighten it if you need to for different tones. |

Looks like you have two shades. Providing your models have the net cover would base paint in Vallejo 887 Brown Violet (which, despite its name, is a nice match for US OD). I would then dry brush the netting in a lighter color like Vallejo 881 Yellow Green. |

Rubber Straps cut from old tire inner tubes might also be common to hold on helmet netting.(the guy in the rear of the photo) |
