This week's game was one of the biggest I've ever fitted onto an 8'x4' table. Despite that, it was over in under 2 hours of play. It was one of the climactic battles of the Balkan Wars, Bregalnitza (1913). This means the playtesting is nearly complete for Konstantinos Travlos's outstandingly researched set of scenarios for the Balkan Wars. AAR here: link Chris Bloody Big BATTLES! link |

I like the Sebians. One day I may even get around to building Serbian and A-H armies. What size are the figs? They look smaller than 15s. |

Thanks! The figures were all 6mm from Irregular Miniatures. Not only do they have a huge range to choose from, the small size and not especially sharp detail is actually an asset when it comes to painting up proxies. You would struggle to find dedicated figures for a Montenegrin command group for 1913 – but Irregular's Louisiana Tiger Zouaves paint up very convincingly. Chris |

Very impressive layout. Just think how much better it would be if the bases match the table top. |

Bobgnar, Indeed. As I said in the caption, I was all set to flock them the night before the game but found I had lent my kit to a friend. Chris |
