Reportedly, IBG has released "a magazine" with included 1/72 scale kit, much like First to Fight's popular series. The subject of the IBG kit is a Panzer IIIa quick-build, which looks pretty nice. You can see it on Henk of Holland's site. Does anyone here have any information about the firm's plans and what can be expected in coming months? Thanks, George |

guideline publishing guidelinepublications.co.uk they told me expect to see plenty of surprises and thats all they'll say … the mag gives clues that the majority of kits are likely to be German |

Yes, I've heard rumor that the first year (10 issues) will be German vehicles and equipment and the second British. The first magazine includes a 1/72 scale kit of a Panzer IIIA, which is not otherwise available in plastic. The second may include a Bergepanzer III, based on photos of an IBG quick-build kit currently for sale in Japan. |

Does this journal exist? The link does not give any information on an IBG title. |

As Buzby wrote, the first series magazine was published. The magazines are interesting and the kits are still available without the magazine. Meanwhile, nothing has since been heard of the second year with British tanks. This is a pity because the first year magazine kits included many models of Panzers otherwise unavailable and a similar treatment of rare British tanks would have been welcome. |

I missed out on this completely! I literally just learned about it reading this thread. Are any of them still available at sellers for reasonable prices? (I was investigating 1/72 Japanese tanks and IBG came up so I did a search on TMP for IGB and this thread came up.) The IBG tanks seem very well detailed and I especially like the way the tracks are moulded. (I hated putting on rubberish tracks as a kid!) |
