The main thing to take from this article, for all it's errors, is that extremists of all persuasions will twist history to suit their agenda. That is why it is essential to know the politics/beliefs of your sources before taking them as facts. |

The article may contain errors, and staements made in a slanted form, but it does also contain facts that are known, but quietly ignored, because it suits modern day politics. Not touching something with a 10ft or longer pole does nothing to clarify the situation. Engagement does that. |

Well as the level of comment on this article seems as bad as the alleged level of content, then stick to your poles. But you are also ignoring some facts, that may not be comfortable but are relevant. |
