Hello everyone,

Who knows which manufactures proposes 25/30 mm
U.S.cavalrymen figures for the period 1861 – 1890 in winter clothes, with duplicate mounted and dismounted figures?

Thanks

Well, These are closer to 25mm but you might make them work.

No one does that I am aware of. Foundry would be my suggestion as well.

Thank you but no , wargames foundry sells only infantry in winter outfit …

It's incredible that there is nothing?

In combat the greatcoats were often removed, stashed, and not recovered. Having done a fair amount of mounted cavalry re-enactment of the 60's and 70's, I can see why they did not wear them in combat. The greatcoat was very restrictive of movement.

So while the greatcoat looks "great", it may not be so necessary to have winter wear for your figures.

Well, Minifigs proposes some, but these figures are incompatible with more recent figures, nobody has any idea?

Tom how were dressed 2nd U.S.Cavalry and 13th U.S.Infantry on January 23, 1870 on the Marias river?
