Rear view..
VW says, that marching Füsiliers are OK. But may be it is better indeed to do this set only with Grenadiers and Musketeers. |

they look great, already ordered, we will discuss NCOs in private mail, also grenadier NCOs |

about Füsiliere, usually not all deployed as skirmishers, according to the regulations of 1788 the first and eight peloton (wing peloton, a peloton made of two Züge, or half company) usually ran about 50 paces in front of their unit to deploy into a skirmishing line, so marching Füsilere are perfectly acceptable. |

As this week's production mould will consist only with four Gendarmes, I will add there Prussians NCO and skirmisher too. And may be some Füsilier, if there still left space.

very impressive NCO – check in case the width of the lace on the bicorne, it may be wider compared to the rank and file. |

VW Noted. I was thinking in terms of firing figures and figures with muskets advanced. That could still fit your description and give a better skirmishing appearance I think. Chad |

Chad47 The skirmishers were trained to load wihle advancing – so yes I agree – some skirmishing Füsiliere will have to be sponsored – in front of their unit formed in close order. Seemingly, at least according to the rule, only about 1/4 of the units strength did form the skirmishers screen, the rest remained formed. |

But Musketeers skirmished as well? Because my skirmisher is Musketeer. |
von Winterfeldt | 17 Jul 2018 12:23 p.m. PST |
musketeers – mainly only the Schützen, but they had a total different armament, convert your musketeer skirmishers into Füsiliere, that will do the job nicely. In 1792 skirmishing was done usually by the Jäger, Füsiliere and Schützen, sometimes by volunteers of musketeers or 3rd rank as well, but this was rather than the exception |

very nice NCO – and also one firing who could be used as skirmisher for Füsilere. |
