This particular scenario took a little more work knitting together the various aspects that characterised this famous assault crossing during the Peninsular War
The game kept on giving and we kept on playing to see how it would end, coming up with a teetering climax in the last turn. If you would like to know more then just follow the link to JJ's link Jonathan (JJ) |

Loved it the first go round you showed. I set this battle up once after seeing your game with variable and conditional entry of reinforcements for both sides and it can be a real hoot. Will the Dragoon's show up in time! Will the civilians aid the British guards arrival. Will Soult wake up! One that can go either way in very dramatic fashion. Just wish my game was as pretty as yours. |

Cheers Ady, just one more to go, we played the penultimate game on Tuesday night, so all on track. Hi Mick, thank you and brilliant to hear you had a go with this one in its first incarnation as there is as you say lots of drama. I hope with this rewrite for Over the Hills we have managed to keep that but produce a version that can be more easily reproduced on the table. More anon and two new scenarios that link in to this one coming up. Cheers JJ |
