Does anyone make WW2 3D "flat" miniatures similar to the ones that were included in the FASA Crimson Skies boardgame like these below? Failing that, how about instructions to make some? I need a bunch of B-17s (dozens), B-24s (maybe a dozen or two) and, of course Luftwaffe fighters (couple hundred) for a multi-player version of Avalon Hill's B-17: Queen of the Skies at game conventions in Cali and I cannot afford that much lead from Collectair :-) Rallypoint

Making them is fairly simple. Get a picture of the bombers in from the top, right, left, and bottom. Paste the left and right sides together, cut a slit for the wings, paste the top and bottom wings together and slide through the slit. |

Have you tried juniorgeneral.org ? They do lots of sideview and top-down view figures, vehicles and planes. You could try merging a top-down with a side view? |

Dynaman8789 – thought it may be harder than that :-) especially where the wings are mounted. BattlerBritain – that's where I got the Idea. :-) I was hoping there were some "professional" examples I could look at. Guess I'll have to go into my "vault" (it's deep) to get my Crimson Skies game to use as examples. Thanx, all. |

Second the juniorgeneral site-- I know someone there did a 3D fold-up Lancaster and they may have others available. |
