If you long for the classic Rogue Trader styling of the old plastic (and/or plastic-armed) Space Dwarves, these guys have you covered: link Though it honestly might be cheaper to fight it out for the originals on Ebay. But they look pretty good. Just an FYI. |

They actually look pretty nice and I definitely would back the KS if I'm a Squats fan. KS is the perfect democracy. We'll see if the people who say they want Squats can back their words with their actions. |

Although the separate METAL arms thing is definitely not a big seller for me- I'd have much rather had cast-on arms with separate universal weapons (for the rifle troops). You want more troop variety?- go with a variety of separate heads. There's nothing wrong with them, but they aren't really all that much of a test market. They're very much like what I already have lots of, and although the weapons swaps are useful (having done way too many of those the hard way already), I have more than enough of "more of these guys". As Nudspinespittle said on the "other" current squat post, the genestealer cultist are an AWESOME reinvisioning of the old RT force. I want to see that. |

Excellent miniatures, by a great sculptor and if I hadn't put a 'plastic/resin only' stipulation on my own Squat army, I would have probably backed the kickstarter. The separate metal arms may not seem like a good idea until you think of all the existing metal Squats with no arms to go with them… then you start thinking about the option to sell those arms separately… if they are less than a fiver for ten arms, they will fly off the shelves. |
