The miniature wargaming Apocalypse is nigh, with the Field of Glory II digital miniatures game adding two huge mods, and even a shout out to Little Big Men Studios. Here is my review for this week for wargamer.com. Here is the direct link: Dragon Blade Meets Chandragupta – Two Big Mods For Field of Glory II | Wargamer link ALSO, check out one of the comments at the bottom of the article. Thoughts? The arts and crafts side of wargaming is too important for me to give it up in favour of computer games. Having said that the idea of a good computerised version of my tabletop game is interesting. I only get in 1 tabletop game a week at best and the idea of playing more games, tuned too my preference, in sounds good. At the very least I could test armies/units to see if I like their playstyle before buying their metal version. I do like to play computer games but normally stick to games like Age of Empires, Civilization and Total War over looking for computerised tabletop games. I might as well give them a try sometime and added the FoG ones to my Steam wishlist. |

I really like this game, the play by mail system is a great way to play games with friends that live too far away and it is easy to take a turn whenever convenient. |
