"In the wake of the runaway success of The Walking Dead and the obsessive love for cancelled series like Hannibal, horror on TV has never been a more viable investment for streaming sites and TV networks alike. Shows ranging from Mindhunter and American Gods to Preacher and Ash vs. Evil Dead have stake in this, as do Stranger Things and iZombie. And with the recent news of Bryan Fuller, the unquestionable master of TV horror at this point, taking on Anne Rice‘s Vampire Chronicles, it doesn't seem to be slowing down even a little bit…."

not sure how it would be horror as the giant squids on legs turned out to be gentle giants who just fancied some procreation …

I always thought both of those movies were loaded with untapped potential.

And I liked the second one better – even though neither of them were really about the aliens.

Maybe the creatures in Monsters (2010) are related to the tentacled ones in The Mist (2007). At least distant cousins. In 2007 we opened a gateway in which they came in and brought along some insect friends, and in 2010 some of them caught a ride to Earth (Mexico) on the US space shuttle. :)

PS. Man, I love this wall in the film Monsters (2010). I just wish someone would identify its exact location:

From what someone in Mexico once told me, that wall is part of some sort of water reservoir in Mexico. They didn't mention the name of the reservoir, but I'd love to find out.

It looks really awesome and massive in that movie. Almost good enough to keep most of the aliens out, though I would put towers and batteries along the top. The wall alone wouldn't be enough against those "kaijus".

It's the same of the "Fear the Walking Dead"?

I wouldn't know, Armand. I only watched the pilot of Frar.
