Aotrs Shipyards is a webstore on Shapeways.com, a 3D print house which had production and shipping facilities located in the USA and the Netherlands.

We start the new year with the BTR-70 at 144th, complete with the swimming hull!

Photos as usual of Replicator 2 prototypes – albeit with a different filament, seeing as we have not been able to get our preferred grey. This brown is… adequate to the task, but it definitely doesn't look or photograph as well, I'm afraid. (I think with it being darker, it makes any tiny strings show up far worse – the sort of thing you wouldn't notice on a painted model – and, of course, not something you get on the Shapeways WSF anyway! Still, I always figure it is better to have an actual picture than a render.)

APCs are likely to be something of a theme for at least the first part of the year! Next month will see the release of the BTR-80; the Chinese YW-531 (aka Type 63 aka K63) is ready an will likely follow and the British FV432 is underway.

(Before anyone asks, no, I have no idea why this thread posted twice on the moderns board, once elsewhere AND double posted the OP in each thread. TMP's board moves in mysterious ways…!)
