I know that in addition to Thoroughbred, BAY and Peter Pig both do 1/600 ACW ships. There are also a small handful of Shapeways manufacturers that do them are there any other manufacturers producing 1/600? |

Much later. The Old Glory Shipyard miniatures are largely for the pre-dreadnought era and slightly before: Russo-Japanese War, Spanish-American War, Sino-Japanese War, and a few extras from the 1880s. They're lovely, but hardly ACW. - Ix |

Does anyone have photos of these Old Glory 1/600 ships? I can't seem to find any online and was wondering how they look. |

This blog post contains photos of some of the Old Glory RJW battleships finished to a jaw-dropping standard of beauty. We recently had a discussion about them in this TMP post. Here's a blog post by VicCina of his build of the Italian 1885 battleship Italia. Also look for postings by Virtualscratchbuilder like this one. He seems to love this scale at least as much as 1/700 scale. - Ix |
