For basing 15mm (AB so nearer 18mm) what length static grass do you use? I figure that 1mm is scale 100mm (4") which seems right scale-wise but would 2mm look better? |

It doesn't matter unless you're going to use a static electricity machine to make the grass stand up. |

I find 2mm looks good. But I use a small static electricity box (and like the effect). |

I use 2mm Silflor clumps from Scenic Express. If you put ballast on the base, drybrush it, then scatter fine flock, THEN glue a few clumps of 2mm florettes per base, it looks great. The clumps are fast, and dont require you to fiddle with a static generator. scenicexpress.com |
